Valentine's Day weekend

Well it's that time of year again! Valentine's Day! How many of you have plans for the weekend? Valentine's Day is actually one holiday I don't really do a whole lot for! I always do Valentine cards but that's pretty much all! I know that sounds horrible! But Valentine's Day shouldn't be the only day you buy a bunch of stuff to tell that special someone you love them! You should tell them that on a daily basis!! Anyways I've put together a cute Valentine's Day weekend outfit I wanted to share! 

I've put together my favorite pair of jeans from Old Navy, a cute shirt I got from a boutique called Factory Connection, and since it's really cold here in the South I put a pink long sleeve shirt under it! And couldn't complete the outfit without my zebra stripe ballet flats! And red lip gloss just seemed perfect with this outfit!!

Hey everyone! Sorry for not posting in a little bit! Between painting and planning my wedding I'm quite busy! If your following me on Instagram then you've noticed that I've started posting my Preppy Outfits For The Day! I've started doing it, because it's nice to show off my outfits! And it's also nice to be able to say where I've gotten them from! I'm quite proud of getting them either given to me or finding cute style at thrift stores! You never know what kind of brands you'll find at thrift stores! I found a Michael Kors shirt at one the other day! :) anyways, today I got some pretty cute/preppy earrings at Walmart! And a pretty awesomely cute Eiffel Tower keychain that is sporting on my Lilly Pultizer wristlet right now! :) I'll post pictures of them all along with the wristlet that I got off of Poshmark! If you've never heard of Poshmark, well then let me tell you it's an amazing app that sells clothing, shoes, and accessories! I'm really happy and satisfied with the app! Good morning!

Hello all! Sorry I haven't posted sooner! We've been busy getting our Christmas shopping done! I just love the Christmas holidays! Yesterday was a very sad day for me.. My sweet baby kitty who was only 2 years old died yesterday morning.. He was such the sweetest little kitty and he will be greatly missed!!

Today is a pretty chilly day here! So of course I have a modest winter outfit on!

Modest fashion

Hello all! I'm so sorry that I haven't been on in a while! We've been major busy with canning and getting ready for the holidays! And planning my wedding!! 😊

Tuesdays thoughts

Hello everyone! I pray that each of you have been doing great! We've been busy lately painting my sister and I's bedroom! We went with a Tiffany blue color for our walls, and a pink color for our closet, and lots of pink and black decor for the room! Here's a sneak peek of how some of it looks!

Right now, I'm reading a very romantic novel by Jane Austen! I decided to start with Persuasion first instead of always reading Pride And Prejudice first! :) I'll work my way through all 6 of her novels! :) 

 On Valentine's Day, my sister and I got a coupon each from Bath And Body Works for a free body mist with a purchase of something! It was a $16.00 value free! I got hand sanitizer to go with it! :) it was an awesome valentine treat from mom!! :) 

 Last week we had an amazing amount of snow for North Alabama! We got a total of 10 1/2 inches of snow with the two snowstorms we got! :) I loved it very much, since I had been praying for snow all winter! And this week we are having nice spring-like weather! I so love living in the south! Lol :) 

After I finish reading all of the Jane Austen novels. I'm going to look for Elizabeth Gaskell's novel North And South! I watched the 2005 BBC 4-part mini series on Netflix and fell in love with it! I've watched it a total of 3 times already!! I love period dramas anyways, but I so love the romantic story between John Thornton and Margaret Hale! :) 

                     This is one of my many favorite parts!!
